His focus on developing effective valuation tools has allowed Business Valuation Canada to offer very cost-effective services of the highest quality. Gregory Kells is an international entrepreneur with extensive business development, marketing, and management experience. He teaches business valuation throughout North America and is regarded as the guru of Business Valuation in Canada. Mr. Kells has served as president/chairman of companies in various industries including the hi-tech industry, manufacturing, business consulting, training, tourism, real estate development, business appraisal, television production and laboratories. He has also served as president of the International Business Brokers Association in Canada.
Ahtisham Fazli
CPA, CGA, CMEA, Senior Analyst
Graduated from Carleton University with Honours in Bachelor of Commerce, Ahtisham Fazli, CMEA started working at Business Brokerage in 2012. He is not only responsible for performing valuation through FAT (Financial Analysis Tool) and writing marketing packages for new engagements but also helps out with various projects at the head office in Ottawa. He holds the CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) in Canada,. CPAs offer a strong set of accounting and managerial skills required for today’s complex and evolving environment. CPAs are broad-minded, forward-thinking professionals who undertake appropriate analysis, exercise good judgment, communicate effectively and act to protect the public interest.
Nasrat Fazli
Certified Equipment Appraiser
Nasrat is an experienced Certified Equipment Appraiser (ECA) specializing in delivering precise valuations of machinery and equipment for organizations, Banks, CPAs, and attorneys. With his knowledge and expertise, he plays a crucial role in helping clients secure Canada Small Business Loans by providing certified appraisal reports for banks. His ability to accurately determine the true worth of assets ensures that his assessments are both defensible and reliable, supporting informed financial decisions.
He is also a Business Analyst with Sunbelt Business Brokers, responsible for preparing valuation reports and marketing packages, contributing to Sunbelt’s comprehensive approach to business transactions. Outside of his professional endeavors, he leads an active and balanced lifestyle. Nasrat enjoys taking long walks, working out at the gym, and playing basketball. He also stays informed and engaged by reading the news and following sports online.
Hamid Fazli
Business Analyst
Hamid Fazli is a skilled Business Analyst at Business Valuation Canada (BVC), he specializes in writing marketing reports, performing business valuations, and optimizing reporting efficiency through advanced Excel macros. Hamid holds a Bachelor of Economics from Carleton University, where he earned multiple prestigious scholarships, including the Gerhard Herzberg Scholarship. Recognized for his high academic performance on the Dean’s Honour List, Hamid has a comprehensive understanding of economic theory, business strategy, and analytical methods. Hamid is certified by the Cisco Networking Academy (CCNA), which adds advanced IT and technical skills to his business analysis capabilities.
Before joining BVC, he served as a Project Analyst at Correctional Services Canada, where he gained valuable experience in data management, SQL scripting, and coordinating large-scale projects. Hamid has also worked in online marketing and sales, further honing his communication and client-facing skills. Outside of his professional life, Hamid has a range of hobbies that help him maintain a balanced lifestyle.
Mohan Aubeeluck
Valuation Analyst
Mohan Aubeeluck has been recognized for his exceptional communication, leadership skills, and strategic thinking across various industries, including Renewable Energy, Insurance, and Finance. He has a proven track record of understanding complex issues and providing insightful recommendations to senior executives. Mohan has held key roles in Credit and Commercial Development at one of the largest Renewable Energy and Asset Management companies in Canada, as well as Trade Credit Underwriter at the largest Insurance company in Canada. His responsibilities include formulating actionable recommendations, identifying growth opportunities, and leading successful negotiations.
A graduate of the Telfer School of Management with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Mohan is a successful CFE candidate. He is in the final stages of obtaining his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and is pursuing his Certified Machinery/Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) designation with the Institute of Equipment Valuation.
Fluent in both English and French, Mohan’s analytical and collaborative approach underscores his capability to deliver high-quality results in dynamic settings. He is an active member of the Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative, contributing to the advancement of sustainable energy projects in the region.
Outside of his professional life, Mohan is an avid reader of nonfiction, a fervent supporter of Manchester United (go Red Devils!), and enjoys discovering new vacation spots with his family.
